You are forgiven

_1 John 1:9_ _If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness._ Confessing your sins is not really con- fession from God’s point of view. Most people understand this verse to mean that when you sin, you must go to God, list all of your wrongdoings, and then ask (or beg) God for forgiveness. That is not what God had in mind at all when He said to confess your sins. Praise God! The word ‘confess’ in the Greek is the word homologeó which means to say the same thing as what God is saying. So, the principle of confessing your sins is simply saying the same thing that God has already said about your sins. Ayaya are we flowing? What has He said about your sins? He said that your past, present, and future sins have been forgiven. He said that He will be merciful to any unrighteous behavior. He said that He will not even so much as remember your wrongdoing much less hold it against you. When you understand that, the last part of the verse becomes an acknowledgment and affirmation of what He has already done: He is faithful and just to forgive your sins and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. Praise God😊 You have eternal redemption, and the issue of sin is no longer a problem between you and God. Hallelujah!!!🔥😀 Let us pray All of my sins, past, present, and future are forgiven. I am not a sinner. I am the righteousness of God in Christ. Hallelujah! AMEN AND AMEN *FURTHER STUDY* Hebrews 10:10-14; 2 Corinthians 5:17 ©zoe fellowship
