Trust The Lord

Hos.4.12 They are asking a piece of wood to tell them what to do! They think a stick can tell them the future! Longing after idols has made them foolish. They have played the prostitute, serving other gods and deserting their God. (NLT)

The scripture above shows us that when a man longs after an idol he is made foolish. The idols here aren't necessarily small greek gods but they're also the things of this world. Your phone can become an idol. Money can become an idol. A job you want to get can become an idol and cause you to be wise in your own sights but not in the sight of God.

Psalms 37:34

Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.

Psalms tells us to wait on the Lord. It means stick to that course God has set you on. If he has set you on a specific path, child stick to it because that's the light yoke he's given you.

He took your burden and gave you his light one. Now carry it and move.

If he's called you to preach somewhere, stick to the message. Don't twist it to say what will catch the attention of specific men to glorify you. For the Bible says that glory is shame.

Prayer.

Loving father. Thank you for this wisdom and knowledge that has given light to our spirits. Thank you for we have our consciousness aligned to you, your provision not the things around us that tell us we lack. They are lying but you are true.

It's true. I have all things through Christ which strengthens me.

Amen.
