Acts 17:10-11 [10]
And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews.
[11]These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
When the gospel is preached unto you, what is your reaction? A hungry man can never be comfortable with receiving a good word only in the sermon, no. We receive the word of God in every season and at every point. Your reception of the word of God is what will make you stand out because everything you give yourself unto, you become.
If you truly love the word of God you will continuously go back to it and allow it to rule your mind. Where your treasure is, your heart will be also. God has placed it in each one of us to be a lover of his presence and of the word, you only need to take the step of faith and choose to be available.
The scriptures say that we come into his courts with singing, you should come into God's presence expecting a miracle, expecting a lesson, expecting a refreshment by the word because it is water. Do not allow yourself to become complacent and comfortable with your spiritual journey, grow in love with The Holy Spirit everyday like you've met him for the first time.
When you are hungry for God, he will surely fill you.

Prayer
Loving God, I'm thankful that you are deliberately teaching me these things in such a time as this, I thank you because you cause me to truly hunger and not be one of the bystanders as you use other men, I choose to be available to you, El-Shadai.
