AT THE KING'S TABLE

2 Samuel 9:13 [13]So Mephibosheth dwelt in Jerusalem: for he did eat continually at the king's table; and was lame on both his feet. Here we see the life of Mephibosheth son of Jonathan who was lame on both feet. The scriptures show us how David looks for him to bless him. He got lame when he fell as a child as the scriptures before show. So when you look at Mephibosheth there's a way he thought of himself and a mind he carried. He carried a mind of a slave because even when the king wanted to bless him he could not articulate it to him he just had to speak it to a servant. Mephibosheth sat at the king's table but our theme scripture finds it important to tell us he was lame on both feet. Not that they had nothing to write about him but it's not right for us to sit at the table of a king and carry infirmity. God says come as you are but he does not say stay as you are. So when you come lame at his table. He starts to give you bread (the message) and that message should make you whole. You are not meant to carry the consciousness of a slave. That's what limited Mephibosheth. Now many people assume they understand that they are born again and so they are at the table of the father eating his word everyday but they do not see results and maybe just maybe it is because your mind is not renewed to the reality that God perfects everything that concerns you. The Bible calls you his workmanship. You are meant to be perfected unto the work of ministry. We are come unto mount Zion. Let us live as citizens of Zion. Further study. Hebrews 12:22 Romans 12:2 Golden Nugget God says come as you are but he does not say stay as you are. You are meant to be perfected unto the work of ministry. Prayer. Lord thank you for your faithfulness. Thank you for the truth of your word thank you that this message causes us to expect more for your presence and receive more in the like. Amen. @zōē
