Adorning The Things That Matter

1 Peter 3:3-4

[3]Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;

[4]But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

In this life, men invest in many things; sadly of which many of them do not yield unto eternity. The scripture tells us let us adorn the inward man of the heart. Make it a deliberate action to make beautiful what's within you and not merely what is outside of you. Intentionally make time to invest in your spirit man and feed yourself with the word of God.

Paul committed men to the word of God for a reason. It is able to keep them, the word of God cannot fail; because this is the absoluteness of his power. So if you're to have influence, you should have adorned the inner man with glory.

Just as the man who was given talents and hid them in the ground is the same thing for you to be a new creation and just live a normal life without walking out in the fullness of your purpose.

Apostle Grace once said that there is nothing fulfilling like understanding your course, numbering your days, applying your heart to His wisdom to work in your life and getting the necessary opportunities for you to do the things you must do in this same life.

Hallelujah.

That's why Peter tells us to make our calling sure, for in doing so we shall never fail. The end line of all these things is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Hallelujah.

Prayer

Loving father, thank you for this truth, thank you for teaching us to number our days and apply our hearts to wisdom. We behold what we must behold to you glory. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
