Acts 13:22 King James Version 22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave their testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will The reason David was a man after God's own heart is because he understood the love God had for him. Remember we love him because he first loved us. Anything outside that is a lie. If someone is to love God there has to be an understanding of the love God has for him or her residing him or her. If it's not there he or she ends up having works with no faith. Basically feigned faith. Lack of knowledge to how much God loves you. If you want to feel after the heart of God and not only preach, pray, fast whatever you do because someone taught you that way or others look great doing it; then now take time to listen to God by reading the Bible. And seek to understand his love for you that you may in turn love him. Hunger for his heart and not for his works. Hallelujah. Further study. 1John 4:19 1Corinthians 6:19-20 Prayer.
